Witch’s Soulmate by Denyse Cohen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Having read Denyse’ first book, I was excited to see another come out. This one struck me completely by surprise though–a completely different type than the first and definitely showcased Ms. Cohen’s creativity. Denyse throws you straight into the excitement with the following opening (hope she doesn’t mind sharing it) –
My exile was a dreadful college for girls in Massachusetts. I lay on bed in my dorm holding the shimmering orb my grandmother had given to me the day I left home. The marble-sized sphere was a receptacle for my mother’s last bit of living energy, which she’d saved for me before she was murdered.
Chilling isn’t it? Had me hooked for sure. Witche’s Soulmate is a wonderful paranormal of witches, their ties to earth’s destiny, and the excitement of finding and keeping a soulmate. You’ll love Jade and Peter. Can’t wait to see what comes next.
