Hello and thanks for joining me on my blog tour for my latest Brides of Blueberry Cove release, SNOWFLAKE BAY! And thanks so much, Shelley, for having me here as a guest blogger.

My latest Blueberry Cove miniseries, The Brides of Blueberry Cove, tells the stories of the McCrae sisters. I’m from a family of three sisters, and though Hannah, Fiona, and Kerry aren’t modeled after me and my youngers sisters, the bond they share, the loving, the teasing, the support, and kick in the pants? That is something I know more than a little bit about.

SNOWFLAKE BAY is Fiona’s story. She’s the middle sister in the McCrae family, and though I’m the oldest in mine, we share the “mother hen” gene in common. I’m the shoulder, the peacemaker, the settler of arguments, and the pants-kicker when needed. I have, however, found myself in need of all of those things at one point in my life, and it was both a blessing and something of a surprise to find out just how good both of my sisters were at being those things for me. Without naming names, some sisters excelled in certain skills better than others. (Hey, it’s not honest unless there’s some ribbing in there somewhere. And I know they’ll be reading this. ) Fiona finds herself similarly in need of some “mother-henning” of her own, and it’s as much a surprise to her, as it was to me, on which sister fulfilled each of those needs.

Where do you fall in the sibling chain? Are you an only? Do you have all girls in the family? The only girl in a family of boys? What role did you play? Mother hen? Peacemaker? Or were you the family rabble rouser? Maybe you’re all of the above! Comment below…and don’t be afraid to keep it honest. We’re all family here.

There’s no place like seaside Blueberry Cove, Maine, at Christmas—and there’s nothing like a wedding, the warmth of the holidays, and an old crush, to create the perfect new start…

Interior designer Fiona McCrae has left fast-paced Manhattan to move back home to peaceful Blueberry Cove. But she’s barely arrived before she’s hooked into planning her big sister Hannah’s Christmas wedding—in less than seven weeks. The last thing she needs is for her first love, Ben Campbell, to return to neighboring Snowflake Bay…

As kids, Fiona was the bratty little sister Ben mercilessly teased—while pining after Hannah. But Fi never once thought of Ben like a brother. And that hasn’t changed. Except Fi is all grown up. Will Ben notice her now? More importantly, with her life in a jumble, should he? Or might the romance of the occasion, the spirit of the season, and the gifts of time ignite a long-held flame for many Christmases to come…

Something old might just become something new…

Includes a DIY wedding project!
